This Fall rowing program is for High School students who are either new to the sport or wish to row only three days a week on Oak Hollow Lake. The season begins August 17 and goes through to Thursday, November 14.
Rowing practices will be Monday and Wednesday from 4:45pm to 6:30pm and Saturday 9:00-11am.
RACING: Racing for the Middle School squad will include the Anniversary Row on September 14, the Bugsy 3K in Elizabeth City, NC on September 28, the High Point Autumn Rowing Festival on October 6, and the Head of the South on November 9.
WHAT TO WEAR: Students should wear normal athletic attire suitable for the weather and flip-flops rather than running shoes as participants will walk the boat into the water.
Students must be confident swimmers as a safety precaution. Space is limited and places will be accepted and guaranteed only upon full payment and completion of the signed waiver and swim form.
