Welcome to the North Carolina Rowing Championships APRIL 9, 2022

The Bethany Medical North Carolina Rowing Championships presented by The Lenny Peters Foundation is an all day rowing regatta for youth, collegiate, and Masters teams from North Carolina and surrounding states. This year we expect 800 rowers from six states, racing in 220 boats, with thousands of spectators cheering from the shore. Hosted by Triad United Rowing Association this event takes place on beautiful Oak Hollow Lake at Festival Park in High Point. 

New for 2022The Regatta Lounge: Looking for a more comfortable way to spend your day at the lake? Join us in the Regatta Lounge for lunch and refreshments throughout the day. Enjoy a glass of champagne or a signature Regatta cocktail while watching the races and making new rowing friends. (Must be 21 to enter). Opens at 8am for coffee and pastries. We will be honoring Charlotte Coach Byron Walthall and Triangle Coach William White during the lunch. Advance bookings are required. All inclusive for $75 (early bird rate).

New for 2022 - mandatory Rower Contact Form The contact form is needed in case of an emergency on site. Each race participant will receive their very own Regatta Watch displaying the NC Rowing Championships name when this form is completed.  ROWER CONTACT FORM

COMPETITORS & COACHES: Visit REGATTA CENTRAL to see rules and eligibility requirements and to place your race entry. There is no limit to the number of races a rower participates in. 

See the 2021 RESULTS for an idea of the regatta schedule. In 2021 we capped the regatta at 150 boats due to Covid-19 restrictions. We are raising this cap to 220 boat entries in 2022. Please place your entry early to avoid disappointment.

VENUE: Festival Park at Oak Hollow Lake in High Point is an ideal venue for rowing regattas. Located at 1841 Eastchester Drive in High Point, NC, there is lots of space for parking and boats and you won’t be put on a shuttle to a parking lot. You will have coffee trucks, food trucks and apparel vendors at the regatta.

SPECTATORS: Entry to Festival Park at Oak Hollow Lake is free for spectators. There will be a $10 parking fee to be collected at the park entrance.
