Give it a Row! Registration is Open for Fall Middle School and High School Rowing programs at Oak Hollow Lake

Join the fun and action of rowing and boat racing on Oak Hollow Lake this Fall with the High Point youth rowing program. The season officially starts August 19 with free opportunities to try the sport the week prior during Sneak Peek Week. 

The team will host a clinic for middle school rowers as well as a competitive program for high school students. Rowing starts at age 12 for any student from High Point/Winston Salem/Greensboro area schools. You can attend any school, public or private, and still row for High Point.

The team, is hot off a Top 20 result at the 2024 Youth Nationals in Sarasota, Florida. More importantly 100% of our Senior Class of 2024 high school seniors graduated and we currently have students studying at universities such as Harvard, Stanford, Princeton, Duke, UNC Chapel Hill, and NC State to name just some of them.

Rowing with High Point is a transformative experience for the student athlete. Students learn life skills through teamwork, competition, skill development and fitness building. Our rowers have continued rowing at Division I programs such as Syracuse, Clemson, and Chapel Hill and have even represented the US in international competition.

All participants must be confident swimmers for safety reasons.
